VILLA GEMINIS, is part of a universal typology project of research, reinterpretation and transformation of a “blank paper”, turned into a Mediterranean architectural proposal, reinterpretation of the CONTEMPORARY ROMAN VILLA. A journey in search of one’s own style, a brand or a “manifest house”, through the PLACE, IDEATION, LIGHT, TECTONICS and GEOMETRY of the proposal, in order to find a client who inhabits this project in a privileged and quiet place de Xàbia, surrounded by valleys and mountains, with distant views of the Montgó, the “skyline” of the elevations and sections are formally integrated with the surrounding valleys.
A design with feeling, unique, innovative, integrated into its closest environment, placed on the mountain and its mountainline, with “Mediterranean” reminiscences; waiting for the “walkers” to find their path, between terraced walls and paths between valleys. And only perhaps with enthusiasm, work, and a bit of ARCHITECTURE, the traveler enjoys the road, being able to live it, feel it and inhabit it; in short: A MOUNTAIN ROAD …:
The program and its architectural formalization is basically based on the choice by the client in several concepts: choice of plot, topography, orientation, visuals, privacy, number of floors, day-night area, exterior and interior space, flat or sloping roof and module dimension. The needs of the proposal are divided into: access, 3 bathrooms, one exterior, kitchen-dining room-living room, arranged diagonally with double height, 3 bedrooms, one with a suit, bathroom and dressing room and a studio; outdoors with pool, compluvium-impluvium, facilities, 2 garages, a set of patios and terraces with integrated outdoor spaces with Mediterranean, aromatic and chromatic vegetation.
